IASE University is a constituent of Gandhi Vidya Mandir (GVM), a dully registered public charitable society established in 1950. Like an oasis amidst the Harshest and the most backward desert terrain near Sardarshahar, Distt. Churu, Rajasthan, its sprawling 1200 acre campus is dotted with a multitude of buildings, breath – taking parks, gardens, playgrounds, auditoria and cultural and spiritual centers.
GVM is a manifestation of the vision of (late) shri Kanhaiyalal Dugar, an embodiment of universal humanism, who donated his entire wealth and embraced sanyas, and was known as Swami Shri Ramsharanji.
The First president of India, Dr. Rajendra Prasad, laid the foundation stone of its University Building in 1955. There are over 10,000 resident/nonresident regular students and over 50,000 students in distance mode. The educational facilitation consists of multi-faculty college for girls and co-educational college in Education, panchkarma, Yoga, Ayurveda, Paramedical, Life Science, IT, Management, Engineering, Veterinary and Animal Sciences, along with well-laid out hostels for 2000 students, separate for boys and girls. AC rooms are also available on demand.
IASE University started Distance Education programme in early 2003, which achieved instant success due to its need-based and career-oriented courses, providing requisite flexibility and a variety of offerings, delivery system and processes. In distance mode, the University follows the same curriculum and system of examination and evaluation which is laid out for regular programmes. There is a fine network of Study centers, touching all nooks and corners of the country, making the education available at the student’s doorstep.
IASE University’s Distance Education programmers are approved by Distance Education Council (DEC) of Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU).
